Meet Brandy Raines – VP

Brandy Raines is the Vice President of Pride of Tupelo and a dedicated community activist and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in Tupelo and the South. As the Director of the Tupelo Mutual Aid Project, Brandy has worked to enhance community resilience & solidarity through initiatives like the annual Teacher Wishlist Project, the annual Pride Project, disaster resilience training, skill-sharing events, and neighbor-to-neighbor mutual aid projects.

She is an active member of Mississippi People’s Movement’s Rapid Response Team and Action Table. As a nurse she is a patient advocate, ensuring all patients receive compassionate care.
