Born and raised in Tampa, Brittany Jo Strong made a pivotal move to Mississippi in 2008, driven by a desire to be closer to family with the assurance of a vibrant LGBTQ+ presence in Tupelo. Despite the challenges of a declining local LGBTQ+ scene, Brittany quickly became an integral part of her new community.

A proud graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Brittany embarked on an entrepreneurial journey immediately after graduation. Today, she owns and operates a business that proudly champions a safe and inclusive environment for people of all walks of life, including the LGBTQ+ community.

Brittany’s dedication to advocacy and volunteering for the queer community is unwavering. As the President of “Pride of Tupelo,” she is committed to revitalizing and expanding the LGBTQ+ presence in Tupelo, ensuring that every member of the community feels supported and represented. Her work is a testament to her belief in creating a world where everyone can thrive and be themselves.
