Dr. Kana Crumby (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Wellness & Counseling Center. With expertise in the field of mental health and sexuality, Kana holds certifications from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and the Modern Sex Therapy Institute (MSTI) as a Certified Sex Therapist. Kana is the AASECT Section Head for Mississippi and is also a member of the International Board of Sexuality Professionals. Kana is committed to supporting the well-being and empowerment of gender and sexually diverse minorities. Kana’s passion for helping others led her to create a specialized group curriculum to reduce shame in gender and sexually diverse minorities. Kana is actively involved in community outreach and education, striving to break down stigma for those in the queer community.
